Triolith Games is building the Genesis Engine, a “free to use” infrastructure and ecosystem that helps Web3 game developers follow regulations, manage complex game economies and loot-systems. Many developers either don’t care about following the regulations and think regulators won’t come for them, or they just don’t realize that there are regulations. Triolith Games and The Genesis Engine help them manage this in an easy way.

The platform provides SDKs and APIs to all the popular gaming blockchains including our own Genesys Chain, asset management, game economy management, NFT and token minting tools, custodial and non-custodial wallets and more. Part of the platform will be open-source, if developers need something specific for their game they can develop it, and Triolith then implement it into the platform.

For gamers it’s a gaming hub similar to Steam where they can find games, talk about them in the community, buy and sell tokens and NFT’s. Our main solution for the gamers is our Tax help which takes care of a major headache for gamers. Often a gamers can have thousands if not millions of transactions where each transaction is worth a few cents, and it could cost more to calculate the taxes than you have actually made on playing the game. And last but not least we will provide a SAFU fund for both game developers and gamers so if there is a hack, or if a game would shut down for various reasons a developer could pay back the lost funds or a gamer could potentially burn an NFT and at least get some of their investment back!

đź’ˇSummary

Why are we building the Genesis Engine?

Our CEO has had a love for gaming since he was 14 and especially F2P, P2E and metaverse games later on in his life. When blockchain and NFT’s came about he realized that this industry would be massive, but he also saw that there are a lot of issues that need to be addressed. For example, most game developers don’t know or they ignore that they do need to follow regulations. Gamers are not properly protected against scams and many more issues.

The company and team has a very long vision that spans more than 10 years into the future, and while we are starting small with adding different chains to our platform our long term vision is to build the base layer for everything web3 gaming and metaverses but done the correct way where the users build the universe, not companies buying a land slot from the developers but actually from the players that are online in the universe. Think Ready Player One, but open, decentralized and owned by everyone where anyone can create their own game, company and so on. This long term vision is however most likely several years away as the technology to achieve this is far from ready.

We assist game developers to focus on their game by handling compliance on their behalf. We provide them with SDKs and APIs, pre-made loot systems, and much more.

We are building our own blockchain technology that in its simplest description can be described as several different chains both L1 and L2’s having different roles in the system. We also have a solution of how to verify several transactions at the same time. Why we are building this is that there currently isn’t a single (to our knowledge) blockchain able to run all types of games with the specs that are needed.

Our transaction verification solution in combination with the L1 and L2’s will give us very high transactions speeds, transaction verification of less than 1s (to not break the immersion of playing a game), all assets on the chain, high I/O speeds to the assets and data on the chain, while at the same time being highly decentralized!
